1. Acceptance

By accessing and using Skolviyou accept these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you disagree, do not use the service. Continued use after updated Terms are published constitutes acceptance.

2. What Skolvi is

Skolvi is a directory for finding nurseries and schools in Portugal. It lets parents search, filter, compare and save institutions based on criteria such as pedagogy, languages, hours and location.

School information is gathered from public sources and/or provided by the institutions themselves. Skolvi is not an enrolment agent and does not guarantee place availability.

3. Use of the service

You may use Skolvi free of charge for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You must not:

• Scrape or extract data in an automated way without prior written authorisation
• Reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit Skolvi content
• Attempt to access restricted areas, the database or the technical infrastructure
• Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purposes
• Introduce viruses, malicious code or any disruptive element

4. Information accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness or timeliness. Each school's conditions — including places, fees and hours — may change without notice.

Always confirm directly with each institution before making any decision. Skolvi is not liable for decisions based on outdated or incorrect information.

5. Intellectual property

The Skolvi trademark is registered in Portugal. The logo, design, software and editorial content of Skolvi are owned by their respective owners and protected by Portuguese and European intellectual property law.

School data (name, address, contact details) are matters of public record. Skolvi does not claim exclusive rights over that data.

6. Data stored on your device

Your saved school list, notes and visit dates are stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. This is your data, under your control. Clearing your browser data will permanently delete this information.

7. Limitation of liability

Skolvi is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by Portuguese law, Skolvi is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from:

• Use or inability to use the service
• Incorrect or outdated school information
• Technical interruptions or loss of data on the user's device

8. External links

Skolvi may include links to school websites and other entities. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy policies or practices of those websites.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revision date. Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Lisbon, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection legislation that may apply.
